Dr. Samir Baig is CORE Orthopedics’ pain management doctor. Specializing in pain management, anesthesiology, and rhizotomy procedures, Dr. Baig works closely with patients to provide advanced pain management treatment options in a safe, familiar environment.
He received his medical degree from the University of New York at Buffalo School and completed his internship at Loyola University Medical Center. Dr. Baig completed his anesthesiology and preventative medicine residencies at Northwestern Memorial Hospital, The University of Michigan, and the Medical College of Wisconsin. He performed his pain medicine fellowship at the Stanford University Pain Management Fellowship Program. In 2022, Dr. Baig completed the Peripheral Nerve Stimulation Stimwave Bioskills and Pacific Spine and Pain Society Minimally Invasive Spine Courses. Dr. Baig is board certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology. He is currently a proud member of the American Academy of Pain Medicine, American Medical Association, American Board of Anesthesiologists, and American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians. He specializes in rhizotomy, a minimally invasive surgical procedure designed to increase patients’ quality of life by reducing neck and back pain. His work has been published in decorated journals such as Regional Anesthesia and Pain Medicine, Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, and the Archives of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. |
